YOUR WORDS, YOUR CONTROL

Privacy notice.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Letter-format drafts work in your browser without an account. The optional Claude pilot, when enabled, requires sign-in and confirmation before processing notes.

Your letter details

The letter-format tool processes your details locally in your browser. When you choose an available Claude draft and confirm, Chitthi processes the form on its server and sends request notes, letter type and selected language to Anthropic to improve or translate the notes. Names, institution, course and date fields are formatted by Chitthi. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in your notes. Chitthi does not store letter text on its server or in browser storage. Refreshing the page clears the current draft.

Copies and downloads

If you copy, download or print a draft, you control that copy. Files you download are saved on your device. If you send the letter to someone, that recipient’s own practices apply.

Website hosting

The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested pages, to deliver and protect the website. Chitthi has not added analytics trackers, advertising cookies or a mailing-list form to this prototype.

Contacting us

If you email mitali@chitthi.me, your email address and the content you send are used to reply and understand your feedback. Please avoid sending private documents or sensitive details that are not needed for your question.

Claude pilot and sign-in

The draft form displays the availability of the optional Claude pilot. Pilot sign-in is handled by the hosting platform through ChatGPT. Chitthi uses a hashed sign-in identifier and temporary usage counters to enforce limits; it does not put letter text into these records. Counters expire within two days and expired records are removed when later drafting requests arrive. Anthropic and the hosting provider may keep their own service or security logs under their policies. See Anthropic’s privacy policy.
